Long House is set in an idyllic location in an unspoilt valley with a stream running alongside and the owner’s home set discreetly behind.

This is a unique detached stone cottage, full of character, with stone walls and A frame vaulted ceiling and traditional crog loft accessed by a fixed wooden ladder, giving extra bed space galleried over the lounge.

Comfortably furnished in some beautiful antique pieces, the large Inglenook fireplace with wood burning stove is perfect for those chillier evenings, 4 slate steps lead down to the rustic farmhouse kitchen, while the lounge opens to a sunny patio and lawns facing south west with wonderful views of Ceibwr Bay; ideal for eating alfresco in peace and tranquillity whilst admiring the spectacular sunsets.

Enjoy the best of both worlds, as the sea is just 300 yards away down a track and there are beautiful country walks along the valley with its abundance of wild flowers including spotted orchids, rare butterflies and birds. Explore the owner’s bluebell wood which is particularly striking in Spring.

Only a short drive from the historic town of Newport with all its facilities set on the estuary of the River Nevern, Newport Sands' large, golden beach is well worth a visit while the golf club which has fantastic sea views, serves good food to non-members; the more energetic can follow the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path and soak up those fantastic scenic views over this special rugged coastline of North Pembrokeshire. Why not try your hand at some kayaking or coasteering which is very popular in this area.

Travel a little further onto the market town of Cardigan with its excellent shops, pubs and restaurants or venture further inland to the Preseli Hills and the magical Gwaun Valley.

All combine to make Long House an ideal retreat for any time of year.
